Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

This alpha male of a nascent wolf pack in southern Grand Teton National Park takes a moment in early spring to survey his domain. This small wolf pack has three adults and is in a wholly hostile environment if they set even one foot out of Grand Teton National Park on to land administered by the State of Wyoming. It's simply hard to understand how these majestic wolves, the solution to the burgeoning Chronic Wasting Disease in Wyoming's elk are treated so poorly in the 21st century. For his young family to survive this Knightly Wolf will have to navigate a treacherous landscape outside of Grand Teton National Park. 6056
